Andrea is a specialist neurological physiotherapist and joined our team in 2018. She brings with her over 30 years of experience working as a physiotherapist helping people with neurological conditions or injuries maximise their quality of life.
She began her career after graduating from Liverpool School of Physiotherapy in 1991, going on to work for a number of NHS trusts across Liverpool and St Helen’s. During her time within the NHS, she developed her passion for neuro rehabilitation. This has led to extensive experience of helping individuals with recovery after stroke, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, upper limb rehabilitation along with treating people with progressive neurological conditions.
She takes great pride in enabling all her patients, with neurological impairments, to participate in physical activity and remain as functionally independent as possible.
Throughout her career she has undertaken many post-graduate courses to progress her skills and knowledge including training on the Bobath Concept.
Andrea is a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist who is admired by her patients and colleagues here at Burscough Neuro Physiotherapy.
